High-pressure shut-off bladders with 6 bar for demanding shut-offs

When a standard shut-off bladder reaches its pressure limit, our high-pressure shut-off bladders are the solution. They work with 6 bar inflation pressure and are made of particularly robust material, so they sit securely and tightly in the pipe even under high back pressure. The bladders are variable and each covers a diameter range, from 50 to 70 mm for small lines to 500 to 600 mm for large sewers. Through the compressed-air coupling, you connect the bladder quickly and inflate it in a controlled way. As a manufacturer based in Bad Abbach, we build these high-pressure bladders ourselves, Made in Germany and designed for continuous professional use. Free shipping within Germany.

When you need a high-pressure shut-off bladder

The higher the pressure in a line or the greater the water column, the higher the back pressure the shut-off has to withstand. This is exactly what our high-pressure bladders with 6 bar inflation pressure are made for. They are used where an ordinary shut-off bladder no longer provides sufficient safety, for example during pressure tests with higher test pressures, with rising groundwater, or for shut-offs under load. The particularly robust material, together with the high inflation pressure, ensures a reliable, dimensionally stable fit.

Variable sizes from 50 to 600 mm

Each high-pressure shut-off bladder covers a diameter range, so one bladder serves several nominal widths. From 50 to 70 mm through 100 to 150 mm up to 500 to 600 mm, you find the right size for your line. What matters is the inner diameter of the pipe. If you are unsure which bladder suits your application, we are happy to advise you free of charge via our hotline. For applications in the normal pressure range, you will find our standard variants among our shut-off bladders.

Frequently asked questions about high-pressure shut-off bladders

What is a high-pressure shut-off bladder?

A high-pressure shut-off bladder is a pneumatic shut-off bladder that works with a higher inflation pressure of 6 bar and is made of particularly robust material. This lets it withstand higher back pressures than a standard bladder and makes it suitable for demanding shut-off and testing tasks.

What does 6 bar inflation pressure mean?

The inflation pressure is the pressure to which the bladder is filled. At 6 bar, the bladder seals particularly firmly against the pipe wall and can therefore withstand a higher back pressure. You will find the exact permissible values on the respective product page.

Which sizes are available?

Our high-pressure shut-off bladders are variable and cover diameter ranges from 50 to 600 mm. Each bladder serves several nominal widths within its range.

How is the bladder connected?

Through the compressed-air coupling, you connect the bladder to your compressed-air supply and inflate it in a controlled way. Matching accessories such as extension hoses are also available in our range.
