The hand-guided pipe cleaning devices come with an 8 mm spiral for pipes from 20 mm and with a 10 mm spiral for pipes from 50 mm, each with 7.5 meters of working length. For professional use, the professional hand spirals are available: the 16 mm spiral is highly flexible, fitted with a special T-slot coupling and designed for pipes from 50 to 75 mm, ideal in kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms. The 22 mm hand spiral is intended for pipes from 100 mm, comes as a 12-meter set, and can be extended as required. Both hand spirals work without a machine and can be extended at any time.
Quick helpers for the sanitary area
For straightforward use on sanitary fixtures, we carry two proven helpers: the WC cleaning shaft extends up to 1.80 meters and clears blockages directly in the toilet. The suction-pressure cleaner works with pressure and suction and is supplied complete with two adapters, suitable for WC, shower, bathtub, urinal and floor drains. Both are quickly at hand when no spiral is needed.
When a machine makes more sense
Hand spirals are ideal for shorter runs and a normal degree of soiling. If you regularly face heavier dirt, root ingress or a long run, an electric device is the better choice. Which pipes are the professional hand spirals suitable for?
The 16 mm hand spiral is designed for pipes from 50 to 75 mm, for example in the kitchen, bathroom and utility room. The 22 mm hand spiral is intended for pipes from 100 mm. For downpipes and underground pipes from 100 mm, we recommend the 22 mm version rather than the 16 mm spiral.
Can I extend the hand spirals?
Yes. Both professional hand spirals can be extended as required, and the 22 mm spiral already comes as a 12-meter set. This lets you adjust the working length to the pipe at hand.
What is the difference between a hand spiral and a hand cleaner?
The professional hand spirals are spirals with a coupling that you guide by hand. The 8 and 10 mm hand cleaning devices are complete sets with spiral and guide for direct use on smaller pipes. Both work without a machine.
Do I need a machine for roots or long runs?
For root ingress, heavy deposits or long runs, an electric machine makes more sense. Hand spirals are intended for shorter runs and a normal degree of soiling. We are happy to advise you on when it is worth switching to a device.
